Creekbed Digital Launches New Custom Website and Branded Facebook Presence for Lac Courte Oreilles Child Support Program
The newly-formed Lac Courte Oreilles Child Support Program selected Creekbed Digital to launch a branded website and custom Facebook page for the program, helping springboard a fall 2012 agency launch.
Creekbed Digital stepped to the plate in late 2011 to build a creative new website for LCO Child Support Program. We went to work sketching a beautiful, fresh design that blended cultural aspects of the community with a professional look and feel and utility of an information-driven website.
Program directors can use the custom CMS installed on the website to manage select pages 24/7 from any computer with Internet access. Directors can also try out the new Content Updating service from Creekbed Digital: Managing website content and updates, including videos, photos and written content, from mobile or tablet devices in real-time.
“When I sketched the site originally, I needed to bring in as many cultural components as possible but create a well-designed site that was navigable for users of all ages, browser versions and Internet connections — which means it has to cater to a pretty large audience,” said Creekbed's Will LaBreche. “You'll notice beautiful background variations
of photos taken by a local community member and plays on the LCO Child Support logo, which was also created locally. I paralleled these aspects with a functional design that presented users very easy, anchored navigation and the ability for program staff to manage an events calendar and program news page on the fly.”
That technology was also fed into a custom branded Facebook presence for the organization. As news and events happen, program staff can publish not only direct to their Facebook timeline, but also through the custom page.
“In other words, they push one button and update to all platforms — website and Facebook — from any Internet connected device,” LaBreche added.
Future additions to the website include a document repository as frequently-requested agency documents will be digitized and posted online for easy download and more efficient workflow.

Creekbed CEO Will LaBreche was one of a handful of speakers to present at a one-day seminar on Web development, social media and broadband accessibility at the University of Wisconsin-Superior March 14th.

"It was great to go back to my alma mater and connect with students and business owners interested in how the Web can work for them," said LaBreche. "With so much mis-information floating around about what is beneficial to business in the digital age, it was a great time to get up and show people what really works for business - not just what is hyped in the industry these days."
LaBreche continued, "Day in and day out I talk to business owners who are looking for answers on what works best for their business - and that's something we really work hard to promote: Helping identify and utilize resources that will work for businesses in the long-run."
LaBreche will be presenting another Web and digital marketing seminar series in northwest Wisconsin in the fall of 2012. More details will be released as available.
